OVERVIEW
In 1941, Glen Haven Elementary School opened its doors with 145 students. As a Title I school, we now serve 500+ students throughout the year from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. We strive to provide a nurturing environment in which all children can flourish, grow, and enhance their self-worth. We share a sense of pride in being associated with our school family.

We respect one another and believe in setting and modeling appropriate behavioral standards for all students.

We continually examine our curriculum and instructional practices to ensure that all standards are taught with rigor using differentiated strategies to address individual needs.

We value close ties and strive for mutual understanding among children, staff, parents, and the community. Through our guidance and counseling program, students participate in activities to address individual concerns such as mentoring, and mediation. In addition to our guidance and counseling program, our school business partners provide support for our students through their participation in the overall school program.
Vision:
Glen Haven Elementary is striving to combine the efforts of the home , school and community by meeting students where they are and helping them maximize their greatest potential.
